NM Home Surveys is an independent building surveying company providing residential property surveys in Preston & surrounding areas. We are not tied to any estate agents or lenders which enables us to provide a totally independent & non-biased service to our customers.
The company was set-up in 2011 & is owned and operated by Neil Maudsley who has over 30 years industry experience in the property inspection market and energy assessment industry.
Neil has been a professionally qualified surveyor since 1997 and is a chartered member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE) in addition to being an associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (AssocRICS). NM Home Surveys is also a member of the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) and Surveyors & Valuers Accreditation (SAVA). Other professional qualifications include Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), Home Inspector (HI) & Retrofit Assessor (RA).

All work carried out by NM Home Surveys is covered by appropriate professional indemnity/public liability insurance and we have a company complaints policy, all in accordance with RICS requirements.
NM Surveys is registered as a regulated firm by the RICS. Regulated firms are those that are signed up to the RICS Rules of Conduct for Firms and are regulated and monitored by RICS to ensure that they meet the highest standards.
